The word Petros is Greek for 'Stone' or 'Rock', and we want to be that strong foundation that people can depend on and rely on to navigate through life and market cycles to thrive, build, then preserve and transition their wealth according to their values.

Founder & President
• Carl Lymangood founded Petros Family Wealth, an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) in 2023
• Carl focuses on advising families and developing custom solutions in the areas of; estate planning, tax planning, risk management and philanthropic initiatives.
• Prior to founding Petros Family Wealth, Carl was a First Vice President of Investments at Wells Fargo Advisors
• Carl has been in the financial services industry for over 18 years and started his career at Smith Barney in Wayzata, MN
Bruce McKimmy CPA
Tax Advisor
• Bruce has been working in the Accounting and Tax industry since 1985. In 1997, he founded Bruce A. McKimmy, Ltd, and in 2015 he merged with another firm to become LifeStyle Tax & Accounting Services. LifeStyle Tax & Accounting Services was aquired by Petros Family Tax in January 2026
• Bruce specializes in individual and small business income tax planning and preparation.
• He is a current member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Minnesota Association for Public Accountants (MAPA).
Kent McKimmy, Enrolled Agent
Tax Advisor
• Kent brings over a decade of tax preparation experience to the Petros Family Tax team. A graduate of St. Cloud State University, he is an Enrolled Agent (EA) dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of the tax code with confidence. Kent resides in Otsego, and when he isn’t in the office, you can usually find him enjoying the outdoors—whether he’s fishing or kayaking on the local waters.
